2018 Year End Blessing
Tzu Chi Indonesia 2018 Year End Blessing this time have a different vibes. The Dharma Assembly of Wu Liang Yi Jing (The Sutra of Infinite Meanings) performance, which is the core spirit of Tzu Chi, become the content of his time Year End Blessing. 865 volunteers recite the Sutra and performing sign languages beautifully on Sunday, 13th January 2019.
“One thing that concerns Master Cheng Yen is that her disciples have not obtain a deep understanding of Dharma. Since last year, Tzu Chi Indonesia has deeply learnt about The Sutra of Infinite Meanings through book reviews, calligraphies, doing the sign languages,” said Chia Wen Yu, senior volunteer for Tzu Chi Indonesia.

Drum of Blessing become the opening act for 2018 Year End Blessing brought by Chi Ying Sijie, Tzu Chi committee volunteer. The theme for this Year End Blessing is Gratitude, Respect, and Love. Harmony without Dispute, Creating Blessing Together.

Sutra Opening Verse as preparation to The Dharma Assembly of Wu Li Yang Yi Jing Sutra (The Sutra with Infinite Meanings). It is stated in the Wu Li Yang Yi Jing Sutra: “Lantern of wisdom should be endlessly inherited, compassion is the secret of universe that never go off”.

Since last year, Tzu Chi Indonesia has prepared, practice and deeply learnt The Sutra of Infinite Meanings about through book reviews, calligraphies, doing the sign languages and learning Sutra. The peak event is today, the volunteers perform The Dharma Assembly.

The volunteers wholeheartedly perform The Sutra with Infinite Meanings. Start from the chairman and vice chairman of Tzu Chi Indonesia, to Tzu Chi volunteers and mission’s staff.

Tzu Chi Indonesia Chairman, Liu Su Mei, claimed to be deeply moved by The Dharma Assembly of Wu Liang Yi Jing. She also take part as a volunteers in the group of The Dharma Ocean (Fa Hai).

Amid their disabilities (deaf and mute), Handaya and Komariah couple, still able to contribute to others. This couple make use of Tzu Chi Bulletin as a media to invite their neighbors and relatives to become Tzu Chi donors and volunteers.

Two volunteers from Pademangan, Sarpen (left) and Sriyanti (represented by Tjhai Su Mei) North Jakarta, the program “Bebenah Kampung Tzu Chi” location. Both (Sarpen and Sri) were once receiving Tzu Chi assistance, and now moved to join Tzu Chi volunteers to help others.
