Vesak 2017 The Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation of Indonesia
Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation of Indonesia held Buddha’s day ceremony, Mother’s day and Global Tzu Chi’s day on Sunday, 14 of May 2017 in 2 sessions with different time slots. Presence by Four thousand eight hundred and seventy three attendance, from many religions, tribes and society.
Indonesian Tzu Chi Foundation celebrate Buddha’s day, Mother’s day and Global Tzu Chi’s day on Sunday, 14 May 2017. This ceremony was held in 2 sessions with different time slots i.e 10.00 – 11.30am presence by 1.563 people and 17.00 – 18.30pm with 3.310 attandance. Total attendance 4.873 people
Fotografer : Markus (He Qi Barat)Celebration was opened with as many as 20 drummer consist of Tzu Chi’s commitee Volunteers. Drum represent the spirit to contribute and compassionate toward mankind. Meanwhile the sound of the drum to invites more mankind to contribute in the benevolence.

The students of Tzu Chi School of Indonesia receive greeting cards and red packaged (“ang pao”) after the sign language performance.

The first session was attended by students from various schools, such as Tzu Chi School of Indonesia, Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Cengkareng School, Dhamma Savana School, Pusaka Abadi School, Budi Agung School, and SMA Mardi Waluya Bogor, West Java. There are also from Silaparamita Schools, Kemurnian Schools, Permai School, Dharma Putra School, Buddhi School, Setia Bhakti School, and from University of Bunda Mulia.

1. Sangha (Monks) open the procession of Vesak’s Tzu Chi. Vesak’s Tzu Chi is a grateful expression moment for the three great kindness, namely Buddha’s kindness, Parent’s kindness, and the kindness of All mankind.
Among the thousands who came, there were 56 religious leaders and community leaders.
