Based on Master Cheng Yen’s aspiration of Universal Great Love and Compassion, with four values of Love, Compassion, Happiness and Equanimity, the Tzu Chi volunteers form the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation
With loving-kindness, the volunteers devote themselves to society to help the afflicted by relieving their suffering and bringing them happiness. In their work, the volunteers must sincerely abide by the precepts, become a duty-bearer, and full of responsibility. All this desire starts from the bottom of one’s heart.
We welcome everyone to join Tzu Chi volunteer team.
Requirements to become a Tzu Chi volunteer:

Willing to contribute selflessly to others in every activity based on Tzu Chi principles and philosophy.

Attending the socialization of new volunteer candidate activity held every month in the nearest Tzu Chi office (addresses and phone numbers can be found at the secretariat page). During socialization activities, fill out the registration form and then you will be contacted by Tzu Chi volunteers from each region (He Qi West, Central, East, North 1 and 2) as well as by the representative / liaison office to be able to follow Tzu Chi activities of your interest.
