Dr. Noor Hadi, Sp.Rad shared his experience in taking education to 87 students who received Tzu Chi career scholarships.

"Can success be achieved without effort and hard work ...?" Asked Doctor Noor Hadi. "No ...!" The participant answered in unison. The question "jolted" 87 Tzu Chi career scholarship awardee who attended the Tzu Chi Career Scholarship Gathering on Sunday, June 23, 2019. That afternoon, Noor Hadi became one of the speakers who motivated young people from various regions in Indonesia to focus and eager to finish their studies. Even so, Noor Hadi also invited his "juniors" to stay balanced between study assignments, socialization, and other campus activities. "The point is that you have to be able to divide your time, between learning, playing, and going through hobbies (campus or student activities), all must be in proportion," said Noor Hadi.

The doctor who just completed his specialist education (Radiology specialist) also shared tips so that the awardee of Tzu Chi career scholarships who were still studying could finish their studies well. "Learning must be focused and always done every day, for example, two hours a day, but it is without being disturbed by gadgets or playing (smartphones) on social media," he said. And more importantly, when college must be appropriate and wise in choosing friends and relationships. "Do not let the (our) intentions and ambitions fail because of the influence of the socialization that is not good," said Doctor Noor Hadi, Sp.Rad.

Hok Lay Shixiong, Tzu Chi volunteers reminded and invited students to realize blessings, be grateful for blessings, and re-create blessings.

While Deddy Sanjaya invited his fellow youngster to wisely use social media and utilize it for something good and useful. One way is by actively participating in the campaign: #sebarkankebaikan that is also one of the programs on DAAI TV Indonesia.

Stay Optimistic and Humble
The life journey of Doctor Noor Hadi, Sp.Rad is indeed not far from Tzu Chi (http://www.tzuchi.or.id/irasi/kisah-humanis/kekuatan-dalam-keserhanaaan/29). When he graduated from high school (in 2006) and continued his medical studies at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Noor Hadi had experienced financial difficulties. The problem began to occur in the first year of entry into college. Finally, with information from his brother who gave him Tzu Chi Taiwan Magazine (in Mandarin), Noor Hadi and his father, Santoso Wijoyo then submitted a request for assistance to Tzu Chi in 2007.

After working hard with his education, Noor Hadi then graduated and obtained a doctor's degree in 2012. For a year, he practiced as a doctor at Simo Clinic, a small village in Boyolali District, Central Java. A year of service, Doctor Noor Hadi later worked at the Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Hospital Cengkareng, West Jakarta. The determination to become a humanist doctor led Noor Hadi to choose to work and serve in the Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Hospital. "The foundation's (Tzu Chi) vision and mission and hospitals are in line, helping people with universal love. Some are sick, so we serve and treat, we don't have to wait for the deposit. This is what makes me feel this is the right way, "said Dr. Noor Hadi at the time.

As a person who has once received a scholarship from Tzu Chi, Dr. Noor Hadi also gave attention and tips in learning to his "juniors".

Approximately three years working at the Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Hospital, the spirit of Noor Hadi to continue his studies also reappeared. Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Hospital and the Indonesia Tzu Chi Foundation also supported this aspiration. "Incidentally, indeed, experts or radiology specialists are still rare, so because the hospital also needs it, I try to study radiology," Dr. Noor Hadi. He pursued specialist education for approximately 4 years (January 2015 - January 2019). Thanks to his diligence and hard work in learning, Dr. Noor Hadi was chosen as the second best graduate from the Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University in this Radiology Specialist program.

Dr. Noor Hadi specifically shared his tips in learning, "We have to set schedules, share time well, then good learning patterns, dare to give opinions, search for information independently (scientific references), and have good relationships. Everything useful we do, for example like a choir, just do itit, so we must be balanced. If we study continously it can be actually depressing, which is important to be able to maintain time well, "said the man born in Surakarta, May 18, 1988.

As a radiologist, Dr. Noor Hadi hopes to provide the right diagnosis and dosage so that it can help treat patients. "If (the task) of Radiologist is to diagnose the patient's disease and help treat it to be more precise and accurate. For example, the patient complains of low back pain, right when he is on an ultrasound (Ultrasonography), it turns out that the stone (kidney) is found, so it helps doctors and patients too, "said Dr. Noor Hadi.

Happiness also belongs to Dr. Noor Hadi's father and the volunteers when watching how Dr. Noor Hadi became the Second Best graduate in the Radiology Specialist program at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta.

To the "juniors" who were struggling to finish their studies, Dr. Noor Hadi advised not to be easily shaken when facing challenges during the study. "If there are challenges and tough tests we have to deal with them as well as possible. We keep trying, praying, and asking for support from our parents. We must be able to balance ourselves in learning, praying, and asking for prayersfrom parents, that's the main thing, "said Dr. Noor Hadi.

As a person who also received a Tzu Chi scholarship, Dr. Noor Hadi felt there was no pressure from the foundation to him. "The Foundation expects us to be good, honest and responsible students. "The foundation also sets a minimum standard of values that if we try well we (certainly) can fulfill it, the requirement don't have to be perfect," explained Noor Hadi.

Dr. Noor Hadi, Sp.Rad still adheres to his principle of being a humanist doctor, as when he first graduated and practiced becoming a doctor.

Having a degree as a radiology specialist does not make Dr. Noor Hadi is then proud. His attitude and character still remained the same as when he had just become a doctor at the Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Hospital Cengkareng 6 years ago (in 2013). "What is changing is the science that we apply in the medical field. My intention and purpose to become a doctor remain the same, be a humanist doctor, "he said.

Coming from a simple family and armed with his experience when practicing as a prospective doctor in a "remote" area honed his inner sensitivity. "I once felt how difficult it was to be a patient from a poor family. I do not want people to feel what I feel, "said Noor Hadi," a good doctor can not only cure the patient's illness, but also his heart. A person who is ill, not only is ill physically, but also mentally. We must be able to relieve the anxiety of patients and their families.
