Moral Support for Medical Heroes

Attention and support continues to be given by the Tzu Chi Indonesia to medical teams dealing with the coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19) in the country.
After distributing more than 1.2 million pieces of masks, 3,000 personal protective clothing, 5 ventilation units to 3 hospitals, and together with the Indonesian Ministry of Health and Indonesian Covid-19 Handling Task Force distributed more than 500,000 rapid test kits to more than 100 hospitals and 18 government agencies, now moral support is also given by Tzu Chi volunteers to those who are fighting at the forefront of handling this Covid-19 outbreak.

Tzu Chi volunteers handed flower bouquets and food and drinks for medical teams in 5 hospitals: RSPAD Gatot Soebroto, RSPI Sulianti Saroso, RSUP Persahabatan, RS Darurat Corona (Wisma Atlet Kemayoran), and RS Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi.
As a form of attention and support, Tzu Chi volunteers gave a surprise of four bouquets of flowers, a package of food, drinks and milk for the medical team at 5 hospitals: RSPAD Gatot Soebroto, RSPI Sulianti Saroso, RSUP Persahabatan, RS Darurat Corona (Wisma Atlet Kemayoran), and RS Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi on Saturday, 28 March 2020.
Tzu Chi volunteers tried to lift the spirit of the medical team by bringing flowers, food, drinks, pictures and words of support to the medical team created by the Sekolah Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi.

Head of RSPI Sulianti Saroso Installation Promotion Tiursani Indarwati was deeply moved by the bouquet of flowers and pictures and wordings given and made by students at the Tzu Chi Cinta Kasih School.
"I am very touched, the Buddha Tzu Chi Foundation's extraordinary attention to our medical team. This is the umpteenth time Tzu Chi has helped us. This assistance and support is very useful and we are very grateful. On behalf of the hospital, we thank you very much, hopefully the Tzu Chi volunteers will be given health and good fortune to be able to continue to help others, "said Tiursani.

One of the support given by Tzu Chi students to doctors and medical team who’s currently fighting to combat the Covid-19 outbreak.
At Corona Emergency Hospital (Wisma Atlet), the medical team represented by the TNI soldier on duty also expressed gratitude to the Tzu Chi volunteers who had been actively helping the medical team.
The same emotion was felt by dr. Deasy Thio, Sp.KK, Deputy Director of the Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Hospital. "It was very touching, because we're not only given material assistance (Tzu Chi), but also moral support like this," said Dr. Deasy Thio.
