Sebanyak 86.000 Masker dan 150 APD Dibagikan Tzu Chi Bandung ke Sejumlah Rumah Sakit

Head of Tzu Chi Bandung, Djonni Andhella signed the delivery receipt of the masks and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to representatives of RS Hasan Sadikin.

The Covid-19 outbreak continues to spread, including in West Java. Tzu Chi Bandung also helped the government cope with this issue by distributing masks and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to a number of hospitals in Bandung on Monday, 23 March 2020. Each hospital representative took it directly to the Tzu Chi Bandung Office on Jl. Jendral Sudirman No 628, Bandung City.

The details of distribution are for 6,000 masks and 30 PPE for RS Hasan Sadikin, 4,000 masks for RS Bhayangkara Sartika Asih, 1,500 masks for RS Immanuel and 5,000 masks for RS Santo Yusup, and 1,000 masks for Puskesmas Garuda.

Rusli Kosasih, a representative from RS Hasan Sadikin, received the masks as handed over directly by Tzu Chi Bandung volunteers.

Ruchiyat Kurniadi as the person responsible for helping with medical needs handed over the masks to the representative of RS Santo Yusup Bandung.

Rusli Kosasih, from Hasan Sadikin Hospital said that the help provided by Tzu Chi Bandung was very useful for his team as a Covid-19 referral hospital for patients under supervision in West Java.

"We distribute this contribution to our officers in ring one. Because indeed, protective clothing is very important, as well as masks, "said Rusli.

Ruchiyat Kurniadi, Tzu Chi volunteer who is in charge of this donation, explained that this medical assistance was aimed at increasing the supply of masks and PPE in preventing the transmission of the Covid-19 outbreak in hospital environment.

Tzu Chi volunteers signed the delivery receipt of the masks to representatives of Puskesmas Garuda Bandung.

Tzu Chi volunteers symbolically handed over the masks for the RS Immanuel in Bandung.

"This shows that Tzu Chi supports and helps the Bandung city government program in preventing the spread of the coronavirus, hopefully this assistance can be useful for hospitals in breaking the chain of virus spreading within the hospital," he said.

Ruchiyat Kurniadi added, the total masks received by Tzu Chi Bandung from the Tzu Chi headquarters in Jakarta were 86,000 masks and 150 PPE, of which 17,500 masks and 40 PPE have been distributed to a number of hospitals.
